Fall homecoming started out with a bang! The 2018 Fall Homecoming  Candidates were Sam Colangelo, Peyten Girty, Bryant Harris, Jada Humig, Cari Brown and Allison Gawith. The week long celebration began on Monday with Pajama Day and a class game “Social Anxiety” where students had to separate colored M&Ms into cups. Tuesday students wore class colors and competed in the frozen t-shirt contest, trying to break the ice enough to make the shirts flexible to put on. Dream Jobs were the focus on Wednesday, with a cup sorting challenge. Students had one cup that had to be moved by rotating cups one at a time. Thursday was Princess Day and were challenged to empty a tissue box one tissue at a time. The week ended with students showing school pride by wearing red and black.

Decorating for the dance, candidate games and volleyball preceded Friday’s pep assembly. Students were fired up, ready for a Mustang win. Their expectations were met as the Mustang football team took home the win against Oxford with a final score of 34—20!

During half-time the homecoming royalty was introduced. Jada Humig and Peyten Girty were crowned as Queen and King of Flinthills Fall Homecoming 2018. Attendants were Colton Anderson, son of Curtis & Jenna Anderson, and Audrey  Grunder, daughter of Justin & Sarah Grunder.
