Mr. Boldra earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree at the University of Kansas. He earned his Building and District Leadership Certificates through Emporia State University. He is currently in his fourth year at USD #492 Flinthills as the Superintendent, and proud to be a Mustang!
I am the oldest of four children, and was raised in Hays, Kansas. My mother was a middle and high school teacher while I was growing up, but now teaches at Fort Hays State University. My Father was a draftsman, and then started his own sporting goods business specializing in hunting, fishing, and bicycling. I learned many trades working in that family-owned store after school, on the weekends, and during the summers. I graduated from Hays High School, and went onto college at the University of Kansas. I landed my first teaching/coaching job at White Rock Middle School in Esbon, Kansas. After three years and talks of consolidation, I took a job teaching at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. I taught for seven years there and met my beautiful wife, Bryna. I then accepted the position as the Athletic Director at SMNW. We had our first child, Landon, in 2007, and in 2008, we moved to Moran, Kansas, where I had taken a job as the Junior and Senior High Prinicpal. In 2010, we had our second child, Keenan, and in 2013, I accepted my first Superintendent job at Solomon. Moving to Flinthills has geographically placed us more equidistant from our parents, as Bryna is from Fort Scott, Kansas.
