Prom: April 2019
The 2019 Junior-Senior Prom is quickly approaching. It will be held in the Flinthills High School's New Commons area. The theme for this year is "A Red Carpet Affair." The doors will open at 6:15 for anyone wanting to come and take pictures of the decor or to just look around. Students will start arriving for formal pictures at 6:30 p.m. Students will enter the parking lot in the South lot entrance and come around to the middle school glass doors where the dads will be waiting to park their cars for a grand entrance into the prom.
Class pictures will be taken beginning with the Juniors at 7:45 p.m. Picture order forms are available in the office and will also be available that night. Payment will be expected at the time of pictures. Informal pictures will also be taken by the Flying Monkey Photo Booth throughout the evening. Photos will be available that evening. They will be 2 for $5. Prom ends at 11:00 and the bus will leave for the After-Prom at the El Dorado YMCA at 11:15. The students will return to the school by 2:00 a.m.
Junior parents are responsible for providing refreshments during the Prom Sign-up sheets are available in the high school office. If your student signed you up for food, please have it at the school on Friday evening or on Saturday between 5 and 6. Due to the number of parents wanting to help with After-Prom, we will need parents and junior class members to come and help clean the Commons on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Any help will be appreciated. It must be clean before school on Monday morning.
