May 2022 Employee of the Month
Ramie Ramsey was selected as the May Employee of the Month. This is Ramie’s first year serving as a school nurse in the district. Ramie has previously served on the Flinthills Board. Ramie was nominated by Jeremy Boldra. Ramie was characterized as one who came into the district in a politically charged atmosphere surrounding COVID-19, and calmly helped to diffuse the flames. She helped develop policy and protocols; she shadowed other school nurses in order to better perform a job in which she was unaccustomed. She has educated parents and students about COVID, influenza, etc. She has been a tremendous resource at a time in which it was very much needed. She is kind, professional, and a well-liked voice of reason and strength. Ramie will receive a certificate and a Flinthills jacket.
