This is my 31st year teaching at Flinthills. I teach grades 3-12 art, and High School CTE Visual Arts. My husband of 37 years is retired from the ElDorado Correctional Facility and is our local Fire Chief and Mayor in Potwin where we have lived for 36 years. I have 2 married children, and 4 adorable grandchildren.

I am the Senior class sponsor, TSA (Technology Student Association) advisor, SAFE (Seatbelts Art For Everyone) advisor, NAHS (National Art Honor Society) and Brew Crew advisor. Flinthills honored me as their 2018 Teacher of the Year, which was a wonderful opportunity. I was honored by being named as the 2019 and 2023 Kansas TSA State Advisor of the Year. In 2020 I was named Teacher of Influence, and in 2022 I was inducted into the Kansas Teacher Hall of Fame. I organize our every-other-year Washington DC trip for our students and families. I love the Flinthills community and am excited about the upcoming school year!
