Hello! I'm Julie Gray McCreight, and my passion is teaching students theatre, speech, and forensics! This is my 20th year as Theatre Director at Flinthills High School, where the students and I have produced 38 plays together. I have come back "home" as I graduated from FHS years ago. "84, 84, 80,80,84!" Since then, I graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BA in Theatre and received my teaching certificate for Theatre and Speech Education at Wichita State University. Later, I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Communications with emphasis in Theatre from Wichita State University. I taught at Goddard High School for 8 years, and now I am teaching 3-12 Drama, plus Theatre, Speech and Forensics in our High School. I was blessed to be inducted into the Kansas Teacher Hall of Fame in the Spring of 2022! My husband is Eric, and my children are Javen, Jonathan and Savannah. Javen is a Graduate of Flinthills and K-State. He is currently a chemical engineer for Baker Hughes in ElDorado. Jonathan and Savannah graduated from FHS in 2022. Jonathan is attending WSU Tech in the IT Division while living in Wichita, and Savannah is attending ESU majoring in Psychology and Minoring in Music. I love spending time with my family at home. I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, riding ATVS, and lifting weights. I am always looking forward to the next time my family will be back together on our ranch where we eat tasty food, work hard and play games! GO MUSTANGS!!! AND BRKALEG!!!
